Dies ist ein sehr häufiger Regenpfeifer in Puerto Rico. Das Weibchen (links) ist blasser als das Männchen (rechts). Er rennt unheimlich schnell, v.a. wenn man ihn fotografieren will. Auffallend ist auch sein dicker Schnabel.

This is a very common plover in Puerto Rico. The female (left) is more pale than the male (right). It can run incredably fast, especially, if you want to take a picture. The tick bill is typical.

Ce gravelot est très commun au Puerto Rico. La femelle (gauche) est plus pâle que le male (droite). Il court très vite, sûrtout, quand on veut lui prendre une photo. Le bec grand est typique.
